Plastic Surgery in Dubai: Plastic Surgery Clinic & Plastic Surgeons
Plastic surgery in Dubai at Perfect Doctors Clinic starts with a conversation, not a sales pitch. We are a DHA-licensed plastic surgery clinic on Al Wasl Road in Jumeirah, and we operate on the face, nose, breasts and body, for women and for men.
Your plastic surgeon in Dubai will be one of three: Dr. Perfect Celebrity, MD, FACS, our Medical Director; Dr. Dirk Kremer; or Dr. Faissal Abdullah Al Masoody. Each is licensed by the Dubai Health Authority, and you can read about their training below.

Your Plastic Surgeons in Dubai
Each of our plastic surgeons focuses on different operations, so you are seen by the surgeon whose work matches yours. The surgeon you meet at your consultation is the one who operates, and the one who sees you through your recovery. Their DHA licence numbers are below, so you can look each of them up before you book.
Dr. Perfect Celebrity, MD, FACS, Medical Director
Dr. Perfect Celebrity is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is licensed by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA licence 9284929-0). He earned his Doctor of Medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University, trained in general surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York and in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Temple University in Philadelphia, and studied fat grafting with Dr. Sydney Coleman. He also performs reconstructive surgery after skin cancer treatment, working alongside dermatologists and Mohs surgeons in Dubai.
Dr. Dirk Kremer, Specialist Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Dirk Kremer is a plastic surgeon from Germany who earned his board certification in 2003, after medical studies in Munich, New York and San Diego and plastic surgery training at a German teaching hospital. He is a member of the German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (DGPRÄC), is on the UK General Medical Council’s specialist register (GMC No. 7058998) and has operated in Dubai since 2013 (DHA licence 00214052-006). Most of his work is breast surgery, facelifts and neck lifts, and body contouring.
Dr. Faissal Abdullah Al Masoody, Consultant Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Faissal Abdullah Al Masoody is a consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon certified by the Arab Board and the Jordanian Board in Plastic Surgery, with more than 15 years of surgical experience (DHA licence 11645193-002). How to Choose a Plastic Surgeon in Dubai
There is no single answer to which plastic surgeon in Dubai is best. The right surgeon is the one who is qualified for your procedure, has done it many times, and is honest with you about what it can and cannot do. Before you book, check these:
- A DHA licence. Every doctor who practises in Dubai must hold one. Ask for the number.
- Specialist training in plastic surgery, and a board or registry you can look up, not just a title on a website.
- Experience with your exact procedure. Ask how often they perform it and how they handle complications.
- Before and after photos of their own patients, taken in the same light and from the same angles.
- A consultation with the surgeon who operates, not only with a coordinator.
- A licensed hospital or day-surgery centre, with an anaesthetist and a clear plan for aftercare.
- Straight talk about risks, recovery time and limits. A good surgeon will sometimes tell you not to have surgery.
The UK’s National Health Service gives the same advice: choose a qualified practitioner who is trained and experienced in the procedure you are having, ask what could go wrong, and take time to decide (NHS, “Before you have a cosmetic procedure”, reviewed 22 May 2023).
Bring these questions to your consultation, and read what patients say in our plastic surgeon reviews. You are welcome to meet more than one of our surgeons before you decide.
Your Plastic Surgery Consultation in Dubai, Step by Step
Most people feel a little nervous before their first consultation, and that is normal. You sit down with your plastic surgeon, say what bothers you and what you hope to change, and hear honestly what surgery can and cannot do for you.
What happens next, step by step:
- Consultation. Your surgeon examines you, asks about your health, past operations and medicines, and talks you through your options, the recovery and the risks.
- Your plan. You agree on a plan together, with a written quote, and take the time you need to decide. A consultation commits you to nothing.
- Health checks. Before surgery you have blood tests and any other checks your surgeon asks for.
- Surgery day. Your operation takes place in a DHA-licensed hospital operating theatre in Dubai, with an anaesthetist and a nursing team. Ask us at your consultation which hospital it will be, who will be in the room, and whether you go home the same day or stay a night.
- Recovery and follow-up. Your surgeon sees you at the clinic for follow-up visits until you have healed.

Plastic Surgery Before & After Photos
Results say more than promises. Look through these before and after photos, ask your surgeon to show you cases like yours at your consultation, and watch one patient’s facelift journey below.
What Is Plastic Surgery?
Plastic surgery is the surgical specialty that repairs, restores and reshapes the body. It has two branches. Reconstructive surgery repairs what an injury, an illness, a burn or a condition present from birth has changed. Cosmetic (aesthetic) surgery changes how a healthy feature looks. Cosmetic surgery is therefore one part of plastic surgery, and a plastic surgeon is trained in both.
In practice, cosmetic surgery can lift, reshape, reduce or enlarge almost any area of the face and body, as the procedures above show.
What Plastic Surgery Can Do for You
People choose plastic surgery for different reasons, and the reason matters, because it shapes the plan. Done well, surgery can:
- Bring the face and body back into balance
- Restore what pregnancy, weight loss or age has changed
- Correct a feature that has bothered you for years
- Ease physical problems, such as heavy breasts, a blocked nose or excess eyelid skin that limits your view
- Help you feel at ease in your own body again
Am I a Good Candidate for Plastic Surgery?
Age on its own rarely rules anyone out. You are usually a good candidate for plastic surgery if you:
- are in good general health
- have no serious illness that is not under control
- can stop smoking before and after surgery
- have realistic expectations about the result
It is worth seeing a plastic surgeon when something about your face or body has bothered you for a while, or when a problem such as a scar, a birthmark or a change after cancer surgery affects how you live.
Plastic Surgery at a Glance
- Type: an operation, planned with your plastic surgeon
- Length of surgery: from 30 minutes to around 7 hours
- Back to light daily activity: usually within 1 to 14 days, depending on the procedure
- Anaesthesia: sedation or general anaesthesia, decided with your surgeon and anaesthetist

Plastic Surgery in Dubai: Your Questions Answered
Where can I have plastic surgery in Dubai?
At Perfect Doctors Clinic on Al Wasl Road in Jumeirah, where you see your plastic surgeon. Your operation is done in a DHA-licensed hospital in Dubai.
Which plastic surgeon in Dubai is best for me?
It depends on your procedure. Look for a DHA-licensed plastic surgeon who performs your operation often and whose own patients’ results you have seen; the checklist on this page shows what to ask.
Is plastic surgery safe in Dubai?
Doctors and hospitals in Dubai must be licensed to practise, and our plastic surgeons and the hospitals we operate in are licensed by the Dubai Health Authority. We use implants and products from established manufacturers. That lowers the risk without removing it, so follow your aftercare plan and tell your surgeon at once if something feels wrong.
How much does plastic surgery cost in Dubai?
It depends on the procedure, how complex it is, whether it is combined with another operation and how long you stay in hospital. Your surgeon gives you a written quote after your consultation, once your plan is clear. Be wary of very cheap offers that leave out the surgeon’s experience, the hospital or the aftercare.
Does insurance pay for plastic surgery?
Usually not for cosmetic surgery. Most health insurance policies cover only reconstructive surgery that is medically necessary, such as repair after an injury or cancer surgery. Check with your insurer before you book.
How should I prepare for plastic surgery?
Your surgeon will give you a plan, which usually includes blood tests and any other checks they ask for, stopping smoking at least two weeks before surgery, pausing blood-thinning medicines and supplements only as your doctor advises, avoiding alcohol in the days before, and arranging someone to take you home. Tell us if you feel unwell in the days before your operation.
Is plastic surgery painful?
You will be asleep or sedated during the operation. Afterwards most people feel soreness, tightness and swelling for a few days, which is controlled with pain medicine. How much depends on the procedure.
What is plastic surgery recovery like?
Expect swelling, bruising and some discomfort at first; bruising usually fades within one to two weeks. Your surgeon checks your healing at follow-up visits, removes stitches when they are ready and tells you when you can return to work, exercise and travel.
How long do plastic surgery results last?
Most surgical results last for many years, far longer than non-surgical treatments, although natural ageing, weight changes and pregnancy continue to affect the body. Your surgeon will tell you what to expect for your procedure.
What are the risks of plastic surgery?
All surgery carries some risk. The main ones are bleeding, infection, scarring that heals poorly, a reaction to the anaesthetic, blood clots, numbness, uneven results and, sometimes, the need for a second operation. Your surgeon will explain the risks of your procedure and how they are reduced.
Do you offer plastic surgery for men?
Yes. Men come to us for gynecomastia surgery, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, liposuction and facelifts, among others. Read our guide to plastic surgery for men.
Can I have plastic surgery in Dubai as an international patient?
Yes. We welcome patients who fly in for surgery. We plan your consultation, operation and follow-up around your stay, and tell you how long to remain in Dubai before flying home safely.
Can I have a private, discreet consultation?
Yes. Every consultation is private, and patients who prefer discretion, including well-known patients and visitors to Dubai, can book quiet appointment times. Your records are handled in strict confidence.
When should I call my plastic surgeon after surgery?
Call your surgeon straight away if you notice signs of infection, such as fever, redness, pus or a wound that is getting more painful, or bleeding, severe swelling, or pain that pain relief does not ease. If you have trouble breathing or chest pain, call an ambulance on 998.
How do I book a plastic surgery consultation in Dubai?
Call us on +971 4 611 2000, send a WhatsApp message to +971 50 190 3845 or email concierge@perfectdrs.com, and we will find a time that suits you.
